Where are you located?
One Richmond Square is located at the end of both Waterman and Pitman streets near East Side Market and before the Waterman Grille (formerly the Gatehouse restaurant). This large brick building faces the on-ramp to the Henderson Bridge. Parking is available in any of the surrounding lots or on the street.

What should I expect?
The first visit includes a brief medical history and postural analysis, so allow a little extra time for this. In order to better receive the massage you will be asked to undress in private and lie on the table under a sheet. Only the part of the body being worked on will be uncovered, and your modesty is always respected.

Feedback during the massage is encouraged and makes each treatment most effective. If something feels good, is too painful, or you want additional work done on certain areas, please let the therapist know. If you prefer a certain type of music, please mention it.

Close your eyes, breathe deeply and allow your body to fully relax. Focus on the areas being worked on.

Each treatment is personalized for you. A variety of techniques are incorporated into each session in order to meet your specific needs.

How often should I receive massage?
A person who receives regular massage therapy is better equipped to maintain good health. A regular schedule allows the therapist to become familiar with your body and its strain patterns, and she is able to work more efficiently with you at locating and eliminating your pain. Regular bodywork allows small problems to be detected and corrected early before they become bigger problems. Generally, once or twice a month is an effective maintenance schedule but may vary for each individual depending on daily activities. For an acute condition, once a week may be appropriate. By receiving bodywork, you are making a wonderful investment in your health and well-being.

What if I have to cancel an appointment?
Should a cancellation be necessary, kindly give 24 hour notice so that your appointment may be made available to someone else. Regretfully, cancellations of less than 24 hours will be subject to a 50% service charge. Non-cancelled appointments (no-shows) will result in full charge payment.

It is always recommended that you cancel if you are sick to limit the spread of germs to the therapist and the other clients that will follow you and also because increasing circulation during massage can make you feel worse. If ever in doubt, please call.
